While walk in appointments are often possible, we do recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We book appointments up to two weeks in advance.

Steve Vernon Steve has been a regular reader here at Little Mysteries for over 12 years. Originally learning the art of palm reading from his grandfather, he went on to study tarot and runes. Steve is also an accomplished storyteller and published author, including Haunted Harbours and Wicked Woods, two books of ghostly tales from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He has appeared on Breakfast Television, Maritime Noon and Live at 5. Steve uses the Rider Waite tarot in readings.

Pierre Belanger Pierre has been reading tarot for over 20 years, and teaching students to use the cards for 10. He has been interviewed for various publications and is well known for his past work with Cable 10’s Tarotscope and for his regular weekly appearances on Maritime Noon. Pierre uses the Morgan Greer tarot in readings.

It can be a bit intimidating to book your first reading - What sort of reading should I get? What if they tell me lots of bad stuff? What if the reader is just plain weird?

Our philosophy here at Little Mysteries is that a successful reading gives a client more insight and information on their situation and the questions they have about it. A reading will reveal hidden patterns that are in place today that will manifest in the coming days, months and even years. It's important to understand that these patterns are not set in stone, that you ultimately have final say on your future. Imagine that you're driving a car on an unfamiliar road when suddenly you're given a map showing you where you're headed. The steering wheel is in your hands and you decide if you want to keep going down that road or if you want to change direction to get where you want to be. So it may happen that information about challenges and potential problems comes up in your reading but you go forth armed with knowledge and the power to make changes now to circumvent that possible future.

Our readers have extensive experience with their intuitive tools and are always happy to chat briefly with you (if they're not busy in another reading, of course) in case you'd like to meet your reader before committing to an appointment (they're very friendly and not hardly weird at all!)

While we have our regular readers here every day, we do occasionally have spots for guest readers open up when our fellows take a holiday (or are out of province on a book tour!). If you are a reader interested in being considered for future openings at Little Mysteries, you are invited to email us (no phone calls please) with your name, specialty and contact information. Please do tell us a bit about your work, your experience in reading for the general public and anything else we should know about you. When we know an opening will be coming available, we will call a number of prospective readers in to interview and to give a sample reading to one of our staff. We look for readers with a strong intuitive talent, good communication skills and a real enjoyment of assisting people on their paths.
